Fishing dunks So. 64 and 65 went on board and procured Salt Licenses for which one paid $220, the orker fromising to hay on the Cruisers next appearance. The Salt Licenses ikned to them shown to Mr Jonnichy. They bore date the 5th January, 1868, and hurfarting to be Licenses granting permission to take in sall for one year. It is stated that several other bouts which had since sailed procured similar Licenses on the same day. There appear the only cases of interference with vessel in British Waters._
The Cruisers also visited the island of Pro-loy on the Ort sustant which is within three
geographical
Miles of Hong Kong. The village appears to be in charge of a fetty Chinese officer, with half a dozen Solvers. Here, acts of theft were committed and two men were ill treated when remonstrating against their goods being seized. The Marters of the Quisers reasons for being in our Bays must be incorrect, as the vessels were in Lytann Bay, Stanley Poo-loy and Aberdeen on the same day (the 6th Instant=)
